If you’re wondering, Union Pearl is a typeface. It was designed and cast by the Grover Foundry, and is widely considered to have been England’s first decorated typeface. The earliest known example of Union Pearl in print is dated 1690. It is to my knowledge currently available only in metal. I will try to post examples soon.
